Well I’d sit around, not make a sound

But I’d play my music really loud

I guess I miss all the noise we used to make

And there are certain things that make me smile

Like black lit paint and hearing “Learn To Fly”

Or a zombie pitcher with a side of fries

I miss the days when we’d throw

Garden pebbles at each other

Sit around with our lunch on our laps

And make up words and stupid raps

Oh And I, miss the nights when we would

Drive around in pointless circles

Yell at random passerby

And laugh so hard we had to cry

Well, my world’s a lot more peaceful now

Since we said goodbye with one last bow

And we have to get by somehow

But if I’m feeling dead and wrong

Our memories will be my happy song

And all those plans that we would make

That we swore we’d do once we caught a break

Well I think about them and hope it’s not too late
